HTDT's First Christmas fundraiser was a huge success

 Charlie auditioned for the Junior Associate course with the Northern Ballet at age 9, he was selected for a 2nd Audition and then offered a place as a Junior Associate. Charlie was a Junior Associate for 2 years and was then given a golden ticket to audition for the CAT programme, after a boys Masterclass. He was told he " excelled '' in this audition and was offered a place on the Centre of Advanced Training Programme with the Northern Ballet. Charlie has been on the CAT with the Northern Ballet for two years now. Last year Charlie was selected to  perform in the Nutcracker in Leeds with the Northern Ballet Professional dancers.  Charlie has been offered a place for a third year of the CAT programme this would make his 5th year this Autumn, but he has decided to pursue athletics. Charlies athletic achievements from earlier this year:1st in the county and regional championships in the 100 and 200 metre sprints respectively. Broke his school record for the 300m sprint. Ranked first in Yorkshire for the 60m, 100m, 200m, 75m Hurdles.2nd in the shot put, 4th in the long jump4th in the UK in the Pentathlon2nd in the UK for Hammer. All of this has been achieved through his ballet training, as he is only now committing to some athletics training, alongside his CONTINUED ballet training with Miss Heather.
